ABOUT
Since I was a child, I have always loved to be creative. After years of art classes, learning to paint/draw, crafting and designing in any way possible, it's no wonder that my passion for creativity would carry over into my adult life and career. My career path has been so unique and rewarding. After graduating college, I spent many years working as a Photography Stylist for Wayfair.com. I created picture-perfect rooms, designed photo sets, became a power-tool-queen, hung more curtains and styled more beds than I would like to admit, shopped for the perfect props for set-food, plants, accents, clothing, etc. We shot product photos for the website, campaign photography, full catalog spreads, branding room images and much more! It was a whirlwind of an experience and I loved every second of it.

During my time at Wayfair, my husband and I began flipping houses (Just trying to channel my best Joanna every day). After a few years of house flipping (and lots of DIYing), I was blessed with the opportunity to work for Fischer Homes as a Design Coordinator. I spent my time there working 1-on-1 with clients, helping them design their dream home. There, I helped clients select all design elements for their new construction home- from structural options, to electrical blueprints, to lighting fixtures, to flooring, to cabinets/counters, paint colors, exterior design and more. I developed a real appreciation for working with clients and helping them acheive their design goals. When I left this job (sobbing) to stay at home with my, then, newborn, I began working for them as a Contract Designer and still continue to today.
Most of my time now is spent chasing around my toddler, loving on my animals or hubby, starting a new DIY project around the house, making a chalk mural (watch out Chalking Dad) or looking for our next flip house. I am so excited that I have began offering my design services as a contractor and I hope to help bring many visions to life.
